UnionBank opened its new branch in Butuan City, Agusan del Norte on August 24, 2009. With the addition of the Butuan branch, the Bank now has a complement of 170 branches in its nationwide network. As part of its on-going branch expansion, the Butuan branch now completes UnionBank’s presence in the CARAGA Region (consisting of the provinces of Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Surigao del Norte and Surigao del Sur).
The Butuan branch is housed in the ground floor of the CAP building, located at the corner of 2 major thoroughfares in the Libertad district – the Jose C. Aquino and Jose Rosales Avenues.
