You must be one of the latest, or about to be a victim, or was searching for the name of this certain famous internet scamster, Noralyn Gregorio who’s making waves in the internet con artistry.
I’ve been a long time ebay.ph and sulit.com.ph user and have been buying and selling there and gained positive reputation. When I get bored, I do a lot of “window shopping” in these awesome trading websites for just about anything, from ipods, to laptops, batteries, brain pills, and all the shit. What I have observed, and what I really do noticed about these days, are these newly created sellers with no or little feedback, and I knew that there is something not right going on in some, or should I say most of these sellers!
I really wanted to bust one of these bastards so I did a little “play dumb” and pretending to buy from these cunning and tricky online thieves. Hundreds of text messages and emails sent, hundreds of cup of coffee drank and hours spent just to catch one of these retards, and fuck yeah! I busted one of them actually! Sometimes you might just feel the need of little wrath to skin these maggots alive!

Here’s a tip on how to distinguish a scam advertisement:

- If the price of the item is too good to be true, then we suggest that you be cautious and exert more effort to research about the advertisement and the advertisement owner if you intend to proceed with any transaction.
- If the transaction will be done online (i.e. buyer pays and then seller ships the item without meeting each other) and the seller is willing that you pay 50% of the item first and then pay the remaining after you receive the item. NO real seller will agree to these terms.
- If a company name is posted in the advertisement, search for that company in Google. If the company really exists, more or less you can get some information about it in the internet. But be careful and be more resourceful as some scammers use the name of existing companies. If you find the company website, check if the advertisement posted is part of their product lists or services. And to be sure, contact the company using the contact information posted.
- If the advertisement owner is asking you to pay using payment schemes without tracking.
- Take note that fake cashier checks and money orders are common so be careful with transactions involving them.
- Inquiry from someone who is from another country and the cost of shipping the item is ridiculous if you compare it with the price of the item.
- Inability or refusal to meet in person even it is feasible according to the location of the transacting parties.
99% of the time, you can avoid being scammed if you can DEAL LOCALLY WITH MEMBERS YOU CAN MEET IN PERSON!
