Dutdutan is currently the country’s biggest and grandest tattoo exposition held annually presented by Tribal Gear Philippines.

A venue for the finest of skin arts, this is where celebrated tattoo artists, enthusiasts, supporters, and even curious first-timers gather to marvel, get inked, compete, and experience skin artistry at its best. Dutdutan is also the one place and time when age and social status cross boundaries to take pleasure in a very personal and intimate brand of self expression.

Highlights of Dutdutan include competitions of creativity and innovation among the best tattoo artists in the local scene. Inkers from all over the country battle for prestige in various categories, exhibiting ingenuity and artistic mastery in the field of skin art.

The expo also displays exceptional pieces done by sought-after tattoo artists, photos of celebrity tattoos and the various styles and designs one may choose to get inked – all artistically and skillfully done on epidermal canvas. Apart from actual tattooing, booths are also installed to hold anything and everything about tattoo, from simple souvenirs to the more complicated tattoo paraphernalia made available to those who need it, and those who want to further explore the art and practice of tattooing.

Essentially, Dutdutan as an event initiates the evolution and elevation of tattoo as an art form - one of the many ways of self-expression that has long been regarded as taboo. But now, tattoos are considered to be a mainstream art, and now this better illustrated by the rapidly increasing number of enthusiasts, both famous personalities and non-celebrities, who are brought together each year in a celebration of art and life. These are the people who breathe life into this art form. They make each Dutdutan a one hell of a joyride.

Strobe lighting attempt one lazy Saturday afternoon at the Butuan City Provincial Capitol grounds.Thanks to all Butuan City BMX riders doing flatland freestyle during the strobe lighting attempt shoot . Strobist setup: A modded Nissin Di622 flash unit to work with any remote triggers, a Korean made Flash Wave 2 remote flash trigger set. Canon EOS 300D, Canon EF 70-200mm F2.8L USM, and Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 EX DG.

LBC failed on package delivery service.

I placed a package shipment from Mindanao to Cebu City last Friday September 4, 2009 and expecting the delivery on Saturday. Well what do you know, the item still undelivered until today. So I opted to track the package using the LBC's web utility, only to know that the culprit was a wrong consignee address. Then I was like w-t-f? I have been shipping packages to the same address many times before with another courier service and experienced no problem at all, also, the consignee's address is even registered at Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

What makes me wanna kill murder someone was THEY never contacted me just to notify the failure of the delivery since they have my contact information. They have my email address and contact number. Every shipper has to supply these information when placing the package. So what's the use of those??

Now I have to call the LBC's Cebu delivery hub tomorrow morning again to rant about their lousy service. Just an advice, to avoid getting into trouble and further hassles, DO NOT SHIP WITH LBC.
